Software worked in conjunction with Royals staff and a committee
of members to:
- conduct
a feasibility study and make a presentation before the Royals
council, the main governing body
- prepare a Request
for Information (RFI) and through it, solicit and evaluate potential
suppliers
- prepare a Request
for Proposal (RFP)
- liaise with
bidders as they prepared their submission
- evaluate the
proposals and create a `short list'
- arrange demonstrations
and negotiate contracts
- complete the
evaluation and choose a vendor
- liaise
between vendor and Royals to ensure that Royals was provided
with all services defined in the agreement

At the
point of writing, Royals is in the final process of implementation.
Based on progress thus far, both committee members and staff
are confident that all their requirements will be met, that
their interests will be protected, and that the process of automation
will continue to go as smoothly as possible. The project has
been carried out within budget and time constraints.
